Distillery talk and tasting
The Chadwick’s customer doesn’t really ask for much.
In fact, they want less. Way less. Fewer fake ingredients, less processing, even less of the rat race and the general complications of modern life. Just the simple things: clean air, clean water, good friends, meaningful work, and of course, good whiskey.
What would real ingredients fresh from the earth even taste like if nurtured and distilled by someone who truly knows and loves their craft? That kind of thing is hard to find these days. Our instincts, from our senses of taste and smell, even to the appreciation of our surroundings have all been put to sleep in the wake of modern life.
Chadwick’s Craft Spirits wants you to wake up and remember who you really are, what you really want, and bring you back to your natural-born senses. Larry Chadwick left the corporate world in 1960 in pursuit of less. 53 years later, his daughter Lynn found she was literally allergic to “more,” or the fake, overly processed products we see on spirit shelves today. So she again, deferred to nature to create Chadwick’s Craft Spirits.
From tapping the land’s trees for fresh maple syrup, to using water directly from one of Maine’s fresh springs, to distilling and aging each drop inside the cabin her father once built all under a sky where you can still see the stars.
Now tell me, wouldn’t you want your whiskey made here?
