Thursday night we had a well-attended Change-over Dinner. Russ and Cathy Pinkham generously provided an abundance of hamburgers, hot dogs and salads which were eagerly devoured. To the strains of “Goodnight, Irene” sung by the Rotations, Irene Fowle completed her year as President and passed the reins to Jeff Long. Debbie Graves and Laurie Zimmerli were awarded Rotarian of the Year for their work transitioning the barn from once a year auction to Saturday morning sales hot spot. New member Jim Herbold was honored with the President’s Award for his tireless help in bringing WiFi to the clubhouse, assistance with transitioning our website to Clubrunner, and all-around help. Irene bestowed the Couldn’t Have Done It without Her award to Linda Clapp for all of her efforts in the last year. Several Paul Harris Fellows were recognized, including chef Amy Ronan for all she does ensuring we are well fed at our gatherings.
Several members brought and shared pieces of art they had created during the pandemic. Please bring a piece of art from your home that you would like to share. You can bring it to the club or contact Alice Mutch at 410-353-3861 or amutch11@gmail.com.
This coming Thursday we will have a strictly social gathering with dinner but no set program. It’s great to just enjoy each other’s company after such a long time.
