Well Spring sure was nice, but somewhat short lived, it seems winter is back.  Cold, snow, ice isn't that normal for Spring in Maine.  

Jerry Farnham shared many of his experiences as a newly published author.  He described the process he went through to get his first book published in hardcover and paperback.  Meanwhile, work continues on the sequel.  Jerry told us how he was humbled to find his book displayed at Sherman’s right next to one of Steven King’s.  He also discussed how he finds time to work on writing and publishing while maintaining his other full time job at the boat yard.

This week Erin Cooperrider is our guest. Erin is part of the group working on the Housing project on Butler Rd.  Since one of the goals of the BBH Rotary Club is to increase workforce and income based housing on the peninsula this should be an interesting talk.

Then Friday, April 5th, is Teacher and School Staff Appreciation Gathering at the Rotary Club from 3 to 6 PM.  Charlotte and Nancy could still use help picking up pizza and other treats for the staff at our schools.  

We're getting ready for the Rotary Barn opening on April 6th at 8:30.  Hopefully we'll have good weather.  We're all ready for a real Spring.   We are accepting donations.  Text Deb at 207-380-3550 for pick up or drop off plans.
