Girls' Basketball Tournament

The Boothbay Harbor Rotary Club was promoting women's sports long before it was fashionable! Every year for 36 years we have joined with the YMCA to sponsor a girls' and boys' basketball tournament which brings together middle-school athletes from all over Midcoast Maine.  Under the leadership of Coach IJ Pinkham and Mike Thompson we provide timekeepers and staff the refreshment stand and ticket booth for the girls' tourney; the kids have a great time and learn sportsmanship into the bargain.
